43rd Annual Jonesville Riverfest

Another Riverfest is in the books and we just want to say a big "THANK YOU" to all who participated.

We met some new friends, had a little fun, and definitely got wet. Now we start planning for the 44th event to be held in 2018. Once again, thank you all!

Friday 05/19 - Sunday 05/21, 2017

Always held the 3rd weekend in May, Riverfest celebrates Jonesville's connection to the St. Joseph River, an integral part of the town's early history that helped make it a center of commerce in Hillsdale County. Held at multiple venues in and near Downtown Jonesville, Riverfest is organized and run by a dedicated group of volunteers who partner with many area organizations and local businesses to host this Family Friendly event.

A triathlon, canoe and kayak races, Tom Sawyer raft race, dunk tank, Grosvenor House Museum tours, classic car/bike show, antique tractor/snowmobile show, 3 on 3 basketball tournament, duck derby, carnival rides, arts and crafts, pork and chicken BBQ, and live music, are just a few of the weekend's fun happenings!

River Rat Cleanup ~ Triathlon/Canoe/Kayak Races Volunteer Opportunities

On the Saturday prior to Riverfest, "River Rat" volunteers spruce up the park area at the race finish line and adjacent Rail Trail. For just 4 hours of your time, volunteers receive a commemerative RIver Rat t-shirt, and lunch is on us!

The Triathlon and Canoe/Kayak Races are the classic events that launched Jonesville Riverfest. Assist with race registration, be a race spotter or timer, load and unload canoes, and help with Friday afternoon set-up and Sunday afternoon tear down.
